    The Senior Director of F&B Experience & Innovation is an important leadership role in the Mountain Division F&B COE. This leader will lead a holistic, data-driven approach to the development and execution of our F&B strategy and tactics. This pivotal role combines operational expertise with strategic vision to drive revenue growth, optimize expenses, and create memorable guest and employee experiences.

     

    An ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with strong analytical acumen, a proven enterprise mindset, a high level of learning agility, deep operational expertise, and a passion for elevating both the employee and guest experience.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Experiential design and innovation

    • Collaborative design of differentiated local and regional dining experiences that enhance the overall mountain brand while leveraging the standards and scale of a large restaurant group

    • Drive centralized capital investment strategy and capital management with a focus on signature restaurant experiences, FF&E, and technology

    • Utilize food and beverage industry expertise to influence near and long-term strategies through ongoing research and application of industry trends, best practices, and technologies; lead a team culture focused on developing and applying industry expertise within the context of our mountain food and beverage business

    • Travel and in-resort presence to support execution, accountability, and development

    Develop strategy and tactics through analytics and data-driven insights

    • Develop and implement actionable strategies informed by data insights to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

    • Work closely with F&B COE team members, matrixed partners and operational leaders to develop annual pricing and point of sale item maintenance strategies and tactics; Lead the implementation of pricing strategies, point of sale item maintenance and revenue management initiatives to achieve financial goals across all restaurant types within the portfolio

    • Critical participant in shaping the F&B Analytics & Insights current state capabilities and deliverables in a way that directly influences future tactics and strategy

    Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, internally and externally

    • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and goals through individual relationships, steering committees, and leadership team participation

    • Manage key relationships with Analytics & Insights, Finance, HR/Leadership Development, IT partners, and third-party vendors to drive alignment and delivery of operational strategies

    • Facilitate and support stakeholder alignment and accountability to key strategies among resort leaders, solicit feedback and apply in-resort perspective to enterprise approaches

    • Identify new partnerships, internal and external, in accordance with overall F&B vision to drive achievement of business results within the short and mid-range objectives of the line of business

    Ownership of functional business execution and results

    • Deliver on KPIs of the business; understand and influence drivers of the KPIs, participate in risk assessment, develop and implement contingency reactions as needed

    • Lead with a high level of collaboration in the F&B COE team environment, given the interdependent nature of the work, especially with the Sr Director of Culinary & Beverage, Director of Operations Support and Sr Mgr of Program Management

    • Support divisional leadership as an active contributor and author of overall F&B business performance storytelling for executive audience

    • Develop F&B talent for the future of the business; foster a culture of excellence by building and mentoring a pipeline of future F&B leaders.

    Experience required:

    • 15+ years operational leadership experience in F&B, Hospitality or Travel & Leisure industry

    • Expertise leading a multi-unit portfolio of at least $100M in revenue and a range of business segments (e.g., quick service, fine dining, specialty, etc)

    • Progressive F&B leadership experience - demonstrated growth in direct responsibility within F&B operations

    • Experience leading an ancillary line of business within the context of a larger operation (e.g., food and beverage within a larger amusement park, cruise line, casino, hotel group, etc)

    • Command of front and back of house business management acumen – growth strategies and tactics, COGS management, labor management, etc.

    • Demonstrated capability to work with direct team, matrixed leaders, operational leaders and third-party partners to build and execute on common goals

    • Demonstrated ability to meet business objectives and create a shared vision of business strategy and tactics – ability to articulate business strategy, results and storytelling at a senior/executive level

    • Experience in developing and delivering artifacts (memos, presentations) to tell a business story and influence a diverse group of cross-functional and executive stakeholders

    • Large scale change management experience, such as enterprise technological implementations, etc.

    • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high change business environment

     

    Other requirements:

    • Ability to travel within our North American resort portfolio, especially in the winter season

    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Smartsheet experience preferred; systems knowledge with F&B point of sale required

    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings when the operational and seasonal nature of the business requires

     

    The expected Total Compensation for this role is $150,677 - $172,500 + annual bonus + equity. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

    Job Summary: 

    The Experienced Maintenance Trades (Carpentry) team performs routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on facilities including roofing, framing, drywall, painting, stucco repairs, flooring repairs, doors and windows repairs.     • Creates training manuals for all FD and Concierge new hires. Ensures new hire checklists are completed within 30 days and new employees are fully and efficiently trained.

    • Works with Sales/Services team to set rooms and times for site tours for potential clients and groups.
