Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Rework Grinder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for grinding, polishing, and deburring metal parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabrication and the use of hand and power tools. Training will be provided onsite. This position requires a physical role and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Grind, polish, and deburr metal parts using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all parts are finished to the highest quality standards.
- Operate and maintain grinding equipment.
- Work in a physically demanding role, lifting and maneuvering objects weighing 30-50 lbs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Essential Skills- Experience with grinding, deburring, or buffing.
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing 30-50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, or construction.
- Blueprint reading experience is a plus.

Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a loud, dusty, and isolated environment. Grinding is performed in a ventilated grinding booth. The work environment includes exposure to noise, dust, temperature extremes, and physical fatigue, particularly in the forearms and hands.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukie, Oregon.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.70 - $24.70/hr.
