Compensation: $30-35/hr. USD

Work Hours: 8am- 5pm

Location: Portland- In office

We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our clients team in Portland, OR. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing real estate portfolio while working in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in property accounting, financial reporting, and managing accounts for multiple properties. Below are more details.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of properties, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Handle tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) billing, including the calculation and reconciliation of charges.

  • Work with property management teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for each property.

To be a fit, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 3+ years of property accounting experience, preferably in commercial or residential real estate.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software).

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting principles.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
