Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced IT Technician to assist with a large-scale hardware upgrade and network reconfiguration project. The successful candidate will be responsible for replacing 2,000 monitors across multiple departments and updating the IP addresses on 400 networked printers. This role requires excellent technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position includes travel to all Valley View locations including off-site clinics
**This is a full-time position that is project based and will end upon completion of the project. **
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Replacement:
- Unbox and set up 2,000 new monitors across workstations, ensuring proper configuration and positioning.
- Ensure all monitors are connected to appropriate systems and functioning correctly.
- Remove and properly dispose of old monitors in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Test new monitors to ensure they meet company standards for display quality and functionality.
- Assist with any troubleshooting or adjustments needed during the installation process.
- Printer IP Address Update:
- Update the IP addresses on 400 networked printers across various locations.
- Ensure each printer is correctly reconfigured with the new IP address and connected to the correct network.
- Verify printer functionality after the IP address update to ensure proper communication with the network.
- Troubleshoot any connectivity issues during the reconfiguration process.
- Document any changes and report on the progress of the updates.
- General IT Support:
- Provide on-site technical support for any hardware or network issues encountered during the project.
- Work collaboratively with other IT staff to resolve any challenges that arise during the replacement or reconfiguration process.
- Ensure minimal disruption to daily operations by completing tasks efficiently and within the specified time frame.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support, including hardware setup and network configuration.
- Experience working with monitors, printers, and other computer peripherals.
- Familiarity with network protocols, IP addresses, and printer configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to lift and move heavy monitors (up to [weight limit]) as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of networking tools and printer management software.
- CompTIA A+ or similar IT certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport monitors and related equipment.
- Ability to work at desks, workstations, and potentially in various locations throughout the facility.

SALARY RANGE
- $25.00- $30.00/hour
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
