: $18-$25/hour dependent on experience
WORK HOURS
: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm

Onsite Travel Required. Offices in Lakewood and Fort Collins, Colorado.

Forte Dynamics is hiring for an internship position to support our operations. Forte Dynamics is a consulting and engineering firm that specializes in mineral resource and reserve estimation, mine planning, blasting analysis, metallurgy, process design, recovery modeling, basic and detailed engineering, and construction management services.
Opportunity:
Ready to dive into real-world engineering work this summer? Forte Dynamics is looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineering student to join our team for a summer internship. This is your chance to work alongside experienced senior engineers on engineering projects, including onsite field work. You will be gaining invaluable hands-on experience within mining, construction, and execution. If you're a civil engineer with an interest in civil projects, let's connect!
What You’ll Gain:
Meaningful involvement in all project phases, from initial planning and design to permitting, execution, and operational support.
Direct mentorship from seasoned project managers, actively contributing to project success in terms of quality, schedule, budget, and safety.
Hands-on experience utilizing project control tools to understand and influence project performance.

Sharpening your technical communication skills through the review and preparation of reports, technical memorandums, and presentations.
Insight into the procurement process for equipment, supplies, and contracts.
Field engineering and construction quality assurance (CQA) activities during construction and commissioning.
An understanding of prioritizing safety in all design and construction phases.
What You’ll Bring:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Solid foundational knowledge in civil or geotechnical design principles.
Familiarity with geotechnical testing concepts (a plus!).
Strong written and verbal communication skills – you can articulate your ideas clearly.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
