Job Description:

LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our client's team in SE Portland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of their property management activities, particularly in the realm of affordable housing. The ideal candidate will have experience with HUD or low-income housing programs, although this is not a strict requirement. It is also not a requirement, but a big plus if you are bilingual in Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the property, including tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and lease administration.
  • Support the Property Manager in ensuring compliance with all applicable housing regulations and policies.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure property upkeep and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property expenses.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for property management and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in property management, particularly in affordable housing, HUD, or low-income housing, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus but not required.


Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
