Senior Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer

AquaWorks is a small and active engineering firm specializing in small water and wastewater systems in Colorado. We are seeking an engineer experienced with the design of water and wastewater systems in the Colorado to work on some exciting projects. Candidates must be experienced with Colorado Department of Public Health (CDPHE) requirements including Regulation 22, DR-1, Regulation 11, and Primary Drinking Water Regulations. Candidates must be self-starters that can work with a great deal of autonomy both in the office and the field.
Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Prepare Site Application, Process Design, and Final Engineering Reports
• Prepare grant and loan funding applications
• Develop design plans and specifications
• Perform construction observation and field engineering services

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the water and wastewater discipline, specifically water and wastewater treatment design
• Professional Engineer License
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation
• Experience working with municipalities
• Progressive experience in planning, design, permitting and construction administration of infrastructure improvements
• Physically able to perform work in the field
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
