Our non-profit client who works with educational programs and certifications for the financial advisory industry is looking to add a Salesforce Technical Specialist to their team. The Salesforce Technical Specialist will be responsible for the administration and support of our Fonteva Association Management System (AMS), built on the Salesforce platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the system operates efficiently and effectively to meet the organization’s needs. The Salesforce Technical Specialist will provide expert support to staff, manage system administration, oversee projects for new initiatives, configure workflows, and offer strategic guidance on best practices and integration of new processes into the system. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational productivity and streamlining operations through the effective use of Salesforce and Fonteva.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary technical expert for the Fonteva system within the Salesforce environment, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals.
• Configure, customize, and maintain the Salesforce platform, including developing and implementing classes, web components, workflows, and process automations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable and effective Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to users.
• Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and user access reviews, to ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user guides, to support knowledge sharing and training.
• Lead or assist with data migration, integration efforts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across systems.
• Partner with third-party vendors and consultants to implement and support customizations and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Train and support end-users to maximize the adoption and effective use of Salesforce tools and features.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, features, and best practices, proactively recommending enhancements and improvements. Salesforce Technical Specialist Page 2 of 2
• Assist in developing and executing test plans for system upgrades, enhancements, and customizations to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements.
• Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to ensure alignment of Salesforce capabilities with broader organizational technology strategies.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Salesforce platform development and administration.
• Proven expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development, as well as SOQL.
• Experience with Fonteva or other Salesforce-based Association Management Systems (AMS) strongly preferred.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I, are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience with data migration, integration tools, and third-party applications in the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management practices is a plus.

Contract to Hire - Target Hourly Pay Range $45-$50.
