Contract Duration: 2-4 months with potential for permanent hire

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our client's team in SE Portland. This role is essential in managing tenant relations and ensuring the smooth leasing process for their affordable housing properties. Experience with HUD or low-income housing programs is highly desirable, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist prospective tenants with the leasing process, including showing properties, explaining lease terms, and processing applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property availability.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure property upkeep and repairs.
  • Support the Property Manager in ensuring compliance with all applicable housing regulations and policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for property management and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in leasing or property management, particularly in affordable housing, HUD, or low-income housing, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.


Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
