Job Description

*Electrical Estimator*
Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a *local electrical contractor* in the area to find an *Electrical Estimator* to join their team.
*Compensation & Benefits:*

*Duties & Responsibilities:*

* Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required estimate details
* Estimate electrical work for *commercial, industrial, and institutional projects*
* Attend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs to verify project requirements
* Perform complete take-offs for electrical scope of work
* Maintain detailed estimate documentation, including supplier pricing and historical cost data
* Support other departments as needed, including assisting with estimates in related disciplines
* Analyze design options and recommend cost-effective solutions
* Interface with clients on bid-walks and provide estimating support to field operations
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership

*Qualifications:*

* 3 years of estimating experience with an electrical contractor
* Experience with *Accubid, McCormick, or Conest* estimating software
* Strong knowledge of electrical installations, estimating techniques, and cost control
* Ability to interpret computerized cost data and estimating systems
* Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
* Stable work history
* Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus

*Preferred but Not Required:*

* College degree in a related field
