Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Billing Specialist to join our team in North Aurora, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoicing, collections, and customer account management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, billing, and customer service-preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities for AR Billing Specialist:
Generate and process invoices for manufacturing orders, shipments, and service contracts.
Ensure timely and accurate billing in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.
Review purchase orders, contracts, and shipping records to verify correct billing information.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as needed.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in collaboration with internal departments and customers.
Prepare and distribute monthly statements and collection reports.
Assist in reconciling accounts and support the month-end close process.
Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payment terms, and account statuses.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and accounting best practices.
Qualifications for AR Billing Specialist:
2+ years of experience in AR, billing, or a related field, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
